First-time standardization of safety-relevant PLC application software by PLCopen Within the context of the Hanover Fair 2005, the PLCopen foundation presented for the first time a draft specification for standardizing safety-focused programming environments. The already certified safety-relevant software components by KW-Software fulfill this international quality standard at this stage.
