Programming of Safety Systems

To simplify the development of safety controls as well as the programming by the user - this is the aim KW-Software has with its safe and already certified software components. Additionally, a platform is provided which integrates different user levels, according to the PLCopen safety specification, as well as certified function blocks und thus serves as a frame for the whole thing.

Relevant events such as trade fairs and expert symposia reveal a worldwide interest in electronic safety technology. Many manufacturers already announced new innovative safety solutions at the SPS / IPC / Drives 2005. In 2005, TÜV Rheinland hosted for the first time an international safety symposium in the USA.Here, speakers from Japan, Europe and the USA reported on the current situation of the IEC 61508 and the standards derived from it.
