With PROFInet a new technology platform comes. It can be used by automation device manufacturers as an open basis for own developments in order to simplify the change of paradigms towards Ethernet-based distributed automation. KW-Software and Hilscher have implemented a PROFInet approach with connection editor, which simplifies the engineering and realizes the communication between controls.
