SPS/IPC/Drives was extremely successful for KW-Software

In 2005, the leading trade fair for electrical automation engineering in Europe was the biggest and most comprehensive ever and attracted 35,000 visitors to Nuremberg, Germany. Again, the fair was affected by a high degree of specialization and competence as well as by concrete issues relating to practical projects. Everybody at our stand 540 in hall 7 was in high spirit. Software for safety technology according to IEC 61508 SIL3

Our .NET technologies

Due to the use of Microsoft.NET, entirely new possibilities become available in the field of automation engineering - this applies to the engineering and programming as well as to the PLC runtime system. Based on this, interdisciplinary Programmable Automation Controllers (PACs) can be developed which combine logic, motion, visualization and process control in one hardware platform.

KW-Software substantially pushes this trend:

• Automation Framework, the component-based software platform for single tools and frameworks, based on Microsoft.NET
• MULTIPROG.NET, the open, scalable and component-based IEC 61131 programming system
• ProVisIT.NET, the new development of the machine visualization, based on the component architecture of Automation Framework 2.0

Automation Framework, MULTIPROG.NET, ProVisIT.NET can either be integrated into one application suite or used as standalone applications for IEC 61131 programming or visualization. It is also possible to integrate only one component, e.g. the FBD/CFC editor, into your self-developed .NET-based automation environment.

ProConOS embedded CLR, the new open PLC runtime system for drives and small controllers

The new generation of the KW-Software runtime system, ProConOS embedded CLR, is the unified runtime system for different automation tasks (PLC, CNC, robotics, sensors). ProConOS embedded CLR is based on an open device interface which can be programmed using C# and the internationally standardized Microsoft Intermediate Language (MSIL/CIL ISO/IEC 23270:2003) respectively.
