Software for safety technology according to IEC 61508 SIL3
KW-Software is the leading provider of software for safety technology according to IEC 61508 up to SIL3. Already today, KW-Software offers a complete platform for parameterization up to programming of varying applications containing certified software components according to IEC 61508:

SAFEPROG/SafeOS for free-programmable logic according to IEC 61131 for safety controls with integration into the non-safe area or for configuration of safety controls by connecting function blocks

SAFEGRID for a comfortable parameterization of safe automation devices with predefined safety logic (drives, sensors, relays) without the need of a subsequent data confirmation by the user
KW-Software is the first company that offers the support of the PLCopen Safety Function Blocks.
ProConOS embedded CLR
ProConOS embedded CLR is the new, open IEC 61131 PLC runtime system for different automation tasks (PLC, CNC, robot, sensor). By using the internationally standardized Microsoft Intermediate Language (MSIL) as device interface, ProConOS embedded CLR can be programmed in C# and in IEC 61131. Besides Windows operating systems, any real-time operating system as well as 16, 32 and 64 bit CPUs can be supported. Compact embedded solutions without operating systems are as well possible.
Automation Framework
With Automation Framework, KW-Software created a component-based software architecture on the basis of Microsoft.NET that enables automation providers to realize their own consistent and homogeneous software tools for different engineering tasks (such as programming, configuration or parameterization) on the basis of a unified architecture. The individual software tools can be combined to an own software suite in an easy way. Engineering of the resulting products is supported in an optimal way as data are consistent and operation is unified. In addition, KW-Software provides further software components in conjunction with Automation Framework:

- Graphic editor
- FDT Container
- User Management
These components can also be integrated into already existing software!
MULTIPROG Suite
Due to the deep integration of IEC 61131 programming, machine visualization (ProVisIT), fieldbus configuration (SyCon.NET) and PLC Motion Control function blocks into one tool, engineering is strongly simplified. Data has to be entered only once and is then permanently available for all tools within the Suite. Customer-specific device parameterization software can be integrated by means of the open interface technology. In addition, programming of networks with distributed controls within one project is supported.
