ProConOS^® VxWorks INTEL

ProConOS^® VxWorks Intel creates a powerful PLC together with an Intel based hardware and a running VxWorks. Even a standard industrial PC with VxWorks meets these requirements. The IEC 61131-compliant ProConOS^® uses the real-time of VxWorks, which is a leading real-time OS in the embedded industry. Highest performance is achieved by execution of optimized, native machine code.

Ethernet-based fieldbus systems via Hilscher netX

In cooperation with Hilscher, KW-Software will support the new Hilscher netX controller, a high integrated network controller, designed as system-on-chip. Based on the netX, ProConOS embedded supports 

• Ethernet-based real-time fieldbus systems, such as EtherCat, Ethernet/IP, Powerlink, PROFINET and SERCOS III as well as
• leading fieldbusses such as CANopen and DeviceNet, according to the systems (master stacks) which are supported by netX. For further information please contact Hilscher (see link below).
