Open framework ...
... for the integration of additional tools (including their own data management). Due to the possibility to integrate tools of any software manufacturers into the Automation Framework application, as well as to integrate tools especially developed for usage in Automation Framework as PlugIns, even most complex and comprehensive automation modules can be created.
Tools integrated into Automation Framework have their own specialized interface. Standard PlugIns are already available for functional extensions of Automation Framework, for example the Parameter Editor, a File Editor or the Property Browser. |

Integration levels
Different levels for the integration of external tools are possible in Automation Framework: In a first, less deep integration level, already existing tools can be integrated into Automation Framework via adapter. Tools that were developed on the basis of the Automation Framework Class Library achieve the deepest possible integration and adapt seamlessly into the Framework. |
