The user interface and handling of MULTIPROG^® is strictly based on Windows^® standard, so that experienced Windows users find their way without problem. The Multiple Document Interface permits an unlimited number of dockable windows. You can define your own toolbars and shortcuts and adjust the system to your preferences via an extensive options dialog.

Clear project management via project tree

The clear structure of the project management enables user-friendly structuring of the project and reflects the structure of the IEC-61131 software model. The operation of the project tree is based on Windows^® standard, i.e. on Windows Explorer. Different project parts can be displayed in different tree views.

Powerful editors with Edit Wizard

The graphic editor supports different editing modes, auto routing, drag & drop and many other useful functions. In the text editor, several useful functions are available with syntax highlighting and IntelliSense during text input. With the Edit Wizard you can easily insert the available objects of the used IEC programming language into the code. The variables grid editor is for safe and easy declaration of global and local variables.

The Fixed Format LD editor is a grid-based editor for the IEC programming language Ladder Diagram (LD). In addition to the graphic standard editor, this editor offers many additional functionalities, which make programming in LD comfortable and easy.

MULTIPROG^® has powerful functionalities for debugging and for commissioning the PLC program, like for example PLC simulation, Logic Analyzer, breakpoints, address debugging, single step mode, overwriting and forcing of variables and recipes.

Online changes of the PLC program

Online changes of the PLC program are possible, depending on the available PLC memory, without limitation of the user program's size. For example, you can insert POUs, perform changes in code, data and function block parameters and even change task cycle times. Downloading changed project parts is carried out while the PLC is running - without interruption of the program execution and in real time.

Online language switching

Language switching of the user interface (English, German, French, Spanish, Japanese and Chinese) and the project documentation created by the user in any language.

Project templates

In MULTIPROG^®, a new project can not only be created with the Project Wizard, but also based on a project template. Clever template management combined with a whole series of already supplied templates for the most common processors makes this work very easy indeed...
