Bus navigator: Safe assigning of process data and configuring of devices

The bus navigator comfortably integrates the field level through graphical display of the bus configuration in an ActiveX Control in SAFEPROG.

For example, the bus configuration was created by the application engineer when designing the bus structure using an external bus configuration tool. This bus project normally contains safe and non-safe devices. However, as parameterizing safe devices is a safety-relevant task, it has to be performed in SAFEPROG and not using the external bus configurator. Importing the bus project and thus transferring all used safe devices into the safe project is easily performed during creation of the safe project with the Project Wizard.
