The project tree: Editor and manager
The project tree (it is also described as project manager) is for clear project organisation and management. |
| |
|
| |
Flexible view on the project
The project tree is structured into several subtrees: The 'Libraries' subtree for integration of libraries, in the 'Data Types' subtree you can declare user-specific data types. The 'Logical POUs' subtree contains the POUs (and thus the code worksheets and variable declarations). In the subtree 'Physical Hardware' , apart from the configuration elements (configurations, resources, tasks), the global variables and network variables of the project are located. Thus, the structure of an automation project according to IEC 61131 is reflected. The instance tree displays the project structure in the PLC.
With the tabs in the project tree window, either the whole project tree or an individual subtree can be displayed, so that you retain an optimal overview of the project at any time.
Naturally, all editing functions of the project tree (copying of objects, moving, renaming etc.) are strictly based on Windows® standard functions, that you already know from the Windows Explorer. |
