Changes without limit - particularly without PLC stop

Changes of the current PLC program can be downloaded to the PLC after compilation and commissioned there without having to stop the PLC and program execution. This feature enables the PLC to switch between two process cycles from the "old" to the "new" code after downloading the modified program.

You can resume "normal" work even after having changed projects.
Changes of code and data are possible without limitation, depending on the available PLC memory. Even function block parameters and task cycle times can be modified in this way.
You always have the opportunity to undo changes.

The PLC memory is not fragmented.
Changes can be tested (e.g. using the simulation) before they are downloaded to the control.
The extended handling of retentive data in MULTIPROG^® (Retain Handling) is fully supported.
