Stage 4: Downloading the compiled project to the controlIn this stage of the tour we send the compiled demo project to the I/O simulation. For this purpose, we use the control dialog and the 'Download' dialog. |

Project Download Downloading is easy in MULTIPROG® - via mouseclick - and can, if several controls are connected, be executed to all controls at the same time or only to selected PLCs. |

| The project sources can be sent to the control together with the project as required and be stored as a backup there. You can include OPC data to access process data later during runtime via an OPC server or to transfer a boot project to the PLC, which will automatically execute the control after each power up.
Within the scope of our tour, we do not transfer the code to a "real" control, but to the PLC simulation, and after successful download in stage 5, we carry out a PLC cold start to be able to debug the project. The PLC simulation with I/O modules is part of the extensive range of debug and commissioning tools which belong to MULTIPROG® by default. |
